Week three has been n gone already…time flies when yer having so much fun.
A cruisey eight show week fer the Captain starting at Yeppoon and ending at Yeppoon with a bunch of Rockhampton in the middle.
Two shows fer the Yeppoon District Kindergarten, first at Tucker St, second at Queen St.
Pirate Pete left Tucker St with a brand new Pirate Hat that were made for him by a young lady there. The Captain is very excited at having a new hat and will wait patiently till his head grows big enough fer him to wear it.
Tuesday the Captain visited Illoura Early Learning Centre in North Rockhampton and just around the corner Narnia Kindergarten. We sailed thru some rough waters this day at Narnia but managed to reach the other side
Wednesday were exciting….always exciting when the Pirate enlists the aid of a sound system to be loud enough to get over the sound of 110 children laughing. They have some pretty tough looking pirate teachers there at Rockhampton Grammar too.
Thursday we visited Parkhurst Early Learning Centre where we almost parked in the rubbish removing trucks exclusive spot thinking the chances of him showing up while the Captain was doing his show was too remote to contemplate. Blow me down in a cyclone if he turn up the very next minute and we had to move. We had ourselves a wild time with the childrens at Parkhurst then revisited Narnia fer the second group session.
Friday it were back to the beach and Yeppoon District Kindy – Queen St where the Captain had fun picking on one of the Dad volunteers
Next week Pirate Pete sails west to Emerald, Springsure and Dysart
Happy sailing shipmates
